Survivor of Lung Cancer – Mdm Anne Heng Shares Her Story

Mdm Heng discovered that she had lung cancer during a health check-up as part of the requirements to continue teaching in her 60s. She was puzzled as to her diagnosis, noting that she led a healthy lifestyle and had never smoked. However, Mdm Heng refused to give up hope, and the support from her family and friends pushed her to complete her cancer treatment and fight against cancer.

She hopes that by sharing her story, she will be able to help others tackle similar diagnoses and encourage them to push on with treatment despite the challenges.

Living with LUNG Cancer – Elden Yee Shares His Story

Earlier this year, Elden, a young parent, had to deal with the devastating news that he had lung cancer. As he grappled with this emotionally, he also underwent treatment with chemotherapy and radiation for Stage 3 lung cancer. More recently, his cancer has recurred making it Stage 4 lung cancer. Through this journey, Elden has chosen optimism, and to surround himself with his loved ones.
